Hi, I would like to ask for Volumio Primo Community Edition does the Plugins for Spotify Connect require premium supscription or free also is feasible?
Second question, Compared to network playear Yamha NP-S303, which is chipper than Volumio Primo, which are the advantages one can get by the surplus charge in the price. Sound quolity, DAC performance…

Does Volumio Primo support gapless audio playback. If yes, then for which format/signal types, e.g. PCM, DSD etc., on which outputs, e.g. RCA, Coax, Optical, from which digital file sources, e.g. NAS, SMB shares, etc. as applicable, and any other gapless playback related conditions … please?

Tinkerboard + Volumio will play FLAC files… but will it play Multi-channel FLAC files? I understand the DAC chipset inside Primo is only stereo; however, could the Tinkerboard inside Primo decode the Multi-channel FLAC and then send the raw PCM bitstream over HDMI? This would permit the Multi-channel audio content to be sent to a modern surround sound AVR for conversion to analog (totally bypassing on-board DAC chipset). Would be great if possible! Kindly advise.
