The IQaudio Pi DAC+ Audiophile DAC is one of the most regarded I2S DAC for the Raspberry Pi. Since its launch, it immediately became one of the best selling DACs for the Raspberry PI, and it’s a long time favourite of the Volumio Team.
The IQaudIO Pi-DAC+ HAT Audio card for the Raspberry Pi delivers outstanding sonic performance and full-HD (24/192) audio capability with build-in hardware volume control through the standard Linux audio APIs (ALSA) using the Raspberry Pi’s I2S digital audio signals delivering much lower CPU usage and vastly improved audio quality vs. USB audio cards

  • An excellent Quality\Price Ratio
  • The only I2S DAC featuring an integrated Headphone Amplifier
  • Clever board layout, that won’t sacrifice any of PI’s GPIO connectors
  • Plug and Play with Volumio, just connect it and turn on the PI. The DAC will be ready to play, no extra configuration needed

The Pi-DAC+ also includes a headphone amplifier delivering, for the first time, an all in one Full HD audio experience for those who listen through headphones, volume is again hardware based under software control and shared with Line Out.

The IQaudio Pi-DAC+ plugs directly on the Raspberry Pi A+/B+/2/3, there’s no need to solder or modify your Raspberry Pi and you can be enjoying Full HD audio, up to 24-bit/192kHz in minutes.

Volumio will automatically recognize the DAC once inserted and powered on, so there’s not even need to configure anything at all.

The Pi-DAC+ feature the same great Texas Instruments PCM5122 DAC as the original and respected Pi-DAC. A fully HAT compliant Raspberry Pi expansion board with EEPROM support, the Pi-DAC+ delivers Full HD audio from your Raspberry Pi.

    Great device for good price

First : sorry for my english, i’m french.

I buy this device after testing an other USB DAC generic device who was not supported by Volumio since few weeks.
I don’t regret, for a smaller price I have win high performances, more db level and better quality of music, less noises.

This product is very easy to configure.

My project work very well now with a Rasperry Pi II, a wifi dongle, leds lights and ATX device to on/off with a push button.
My HiFi system won a good partner.

    Awesome device for the price!

I have the dac+ with the amp+ driving a pair of mica x’s and it’s a super combo for my bedroom! Pair it with a rotary encoder for on device digital volume control too! I also have a hifiaudio dac, but the quality and design of the dac+ is just better in every aspect.

    Very pleasant surprise

Didn’t expect such a great sound from a Raspberry PI and this DAC… Shipping time was average, less than one week to get it at my doorstep

Excellent product, and a great introduction to home built hifi. The Pi-DAC+ has exceeded my expectations as far as sound quality is concerned, both on the line output and on the integrated Headphone amplifier.
I have placed the DAC on a new Raspberry PI 3, and it worked without any configuration with the latest Volumio build available. The Dac is plugged into a Cambridge audio amp and the Volumio + IQDAC Combo clearly outmatches
my previous Audirvana and V-DAC2 digital setup.
I would 100% recommend this item.
