The Allo Piano 2.1 features a twin 384 kHz/32bit high-quality DAC PCM5142, with 4 RCA Connectors. By using its integrated DSP Capabilities you can drive your loudspeakers and your subwoofer by sending only the optimal frequencies to the combination. The Piano 2.1 allows to select the Subwoofer Low Pass frequency (from 50 to 200 HZ), and use the DAC in 2.0 (single output), 2.1 (Hi Frequency output + Mono Subwoofer), 2.2 (Hi Frequency output + Stereo Subwoofer).
And the great news is that with TI’s PurePath software you will be able to create specific filters and other audio functions to your likings!
Hardware wise, the digital and analog side are splitted with high quality LDOs and the analog side uses an extremely capable LDO LT3042 which is having ultra low noise and ultra high PSRR. Basically each board has 4 LDO (2 for each DAC ). On the analog side of things, only thin film resistors and poly capacitors are used.
