Since when do we have a graphic UI in the Rpi by default ?

Plugged a HDMI cable to the Rpi to check the boot and la voila there it was
Neat !

MMMM… there is not, why do you say that?

I certainly do have it , is the reason that I have sometime in the past tried to install the Touch Display plugin and then uninstalled it ?

Probably

OK !
I was surprised when I saw the UI on one of my Pi’s, the one I don’t use for testing only keep it updated , but I have probably had some urge to test stuff on that too.

Is there reason why it ain’t a UI by default ?

Because the UI (as it is now) is very demanding in terms of resources (CPU and RAM) so on the PI it will affect performances only to the majority, which don’t use it
