No Resampling with Spotify

Hi,
I have just tried the Spotify Plugin first time and I found that this playback does not go through the resampling engine. Volume control does work. Very strange. All other playback including internet radio goes the normal way as configured in playback settings, only Spotify does ignore this settings. Any idea?

BTW: not really important, but this little melody played at startup does not go through the resampler, too. Because I am using an experimental DAC that does not work below 88.2 kHz correctly, I always resample to 192kHz. Only this little melody comes distorted. Possibly both things have the same cause. I would expect that all audio playback goes through the resampler, when activated in playback settings.

The resampling used in Volumio only affects mpd. Spotify plugin does not use mpd but spop. Spotify connect plugin uses librespot.
So, if you want to resample these plugins you have to do it in an other way…

It’s Beta though :wink:
Do not mix it with the resampling in volumio.
