How do I connect an I2S DAC to this new board??
The Raspberry Pi 2 model B is pin-compatible with the B+, so most DAC’s that work with the B+ should work OK with the Raspberry Pi 2. I am using the HiFiBerry DAC+ with a Raspberry Pi 2 and have not experienced any problems.
Mike, the old model B (with 2x13 pin header) has a no-fit P5 header. This P5 header provides the I2S signals needed for compatible DACs.
Some customers experienced problems with the made in china model B.
