Raspberry GPO when there is playback

Hello,

I’m doing a project for my multiroom system with 4 Raspi & HifiBerry Amp2 in a 1U 19" rack, integrated power supply, etc.
I’d like to have LED in the front wich blink only if there is a playback occuring on each volumio player.

So If we’re playing some music (through volumio or airplay), the led for the concerning raspi (room) will be powered on.
To do that, I’d like to have a closed contact GPO when music is playbing back,

I did some search but only found some things about play/stop/next/ buttons through GPI, but nothing about what I’d like to do
