I’ve just set up a newly purchased hardware of Rpi3 and Allo Boss DAC. Loaded latest version of Volumio on micro sd card and booted.
I’ve followed the setup instructions, transferred over some flac files and its playing music through the hifi.
An immediate observation was “popping” noise when skipping tracks. I notice the LED1 light on the Allo Boss PCB goes off and on with each track change. Is this effectively turning the audio circuit off and on again between tracks? If it is it, I suppose that would explain the “popping” noise coming out the speakers.
Any ideas how to fix? (Its a real let down because the sound quality and volumio UI is second to none 
)
