Here’s my Volumio project, a picture frame 10.1" Touchscreen bezelled in a wooden frame.
I use a Raspberry PI3b with a SunFounder 10.1 IPS LCD Touchscreen which works out of the box with the touchscreen plugin.
My music source is on an Synology Nas.
Speaker system: Energy Sistem Tower 5
I created a wooden frame and routed in a bezel to hold the touchscreen in place. The back is open for easy access to the SD card and ports.
The GPIO is free to add on sound boards, etc.
The only two things I would love to see is native WiFi 5Ghz and official Bluetooth support
(yes I’ve tried the plugin that is up here but can’t get it to work with my Energy Sistem Tower 5, it sees it but does not connect)
