Hello all
I have my boss all in one player on order, can’t wait for it to arrive.
I have been playing my files on an android box spdif output to an external dac, and into a bose sound wave, using the Kodi Remote on an old iPhone 5 I have lying about.
Works beautifully especially as I have it on a dedicated router away from internet.

I’m hoping, fingers crossed, that the boss player with Volumio will allow me the same sort of set up but with ability to play hi res files 24/192 etc, I’m hoping this is right? And complete with headless control via my iPhone and Volumio app?

Will the boss player come with Volumio installed?

Hi Anglepen, welcome to Volumio & the forum :slight_smile:.

You look set to go when your Boss player arrives. I think you had to specify if Volumio is supplied when you ordered the device from Allo, but if not it’s a pretty simple exercise to download and flash an image to a sd card. Feel free to ask questions in the ‘Help’ section of the forum.
