New configuration

I share my new configuration.
Use 2 x 12VAC 50VA transformers and two modules with low noise regulator LT1083 and 10000uf capacitor to power a Raspberry Pi 3 and an Allo Boss DAC.
This was intervened to be able to feed it separately.
The only problem that I found is that there is a lot of tension that the transformers deliver, therefore the integrated section that feeds the Rasp was too hot, I had to mount it on an external heatsink.
I bought the plates here:

Can be ordered with 10000uf capacitor, they look very well built.

I want to build a power supply for may Allo BOSS DAC V 1.2 like you did.
Do you know what the power requirements for the DAC is? I can can’t find it anywhere.

I did not measure it yet, it sure is less than half of what rasp3 consumes. I’m on vacation, when I return I measure it and I tell you.

My multimeter is not the best, it can have a margin of error, measuring only the Allo Boss DAC 1.0, I have 57 mA on average playing music.
The regulator works very cold, that reading should not be far away.
I’ll see to get a more reliable multimeter.

I ask Allo and they came back with 5V, 100mA.
