Hello, and thanks for your hard work on Volumio.
Setup:
I’ve been having a bug since I started using Volumio. I’m using a simple setup:
- USB hard drive
- Digi+ Pro from HifiBerry
Issue:
From time to time, the current song that’s playing starts looping infinitely over the past buffered second. A bit like what we used to have with a scratched CD/Vinyl. When this happens, Volumio is unresponsive and I have to unplug the RPi.
Details:
- The issue does not come from the song file: it happens with random songs. Rebooting and playing the song again works.
- Seems to happen when I load an album in the queue and leave it playing, so typically after 15 minutes of playing without changing anything.

It’s like Volumio puts my HDD to sleep instead of streaming from it after some point.
If you have any idea for a fix, that would be excellent!
