I’ve just received my Pi 2.
Never used a Pi before so it’s all new to me. I’m looking forward to getting some help from some Volumio experts. 
My aim is to replace my expensive (but limited) Hi-Fi streamer with a Pi, or similar computer. Mainly I want to stream .FLAC files from my Synology NAS and access Spotify, etc, sending digital output to my separate USB/SPDIF DAC and then onto my Hi-Fi preamp.
I know that’s been done many times before, so it should be easy?!
All I’ve done on day one is powered up the Pi with Volumio and pointed it at my NAS.
That’s OK, but now I have a few questions, so I’d better head off to a different section of the forum…
