Hi everyone, my name is David.
I have been a lurker for a while, and have found this forum to be my “go to” source whenever a problem arose. Today I decided it was time to take the plunge and sign up, so i can at least extend a thank you for the help i have gained here.
I came to Volumio last year following a fairly short spell using Runeaudio, their lack of UI volume control for Spotify was a let down for me.
I currently run two setups, both using Raspberry Pi 3;
A lounge set running Allo Piano DAC and Kali reclocker attached to a Sony STR-DN1060 running in ‘pure direct mode’ to a pair of KEF Q55 floorstanders.
A bedroom set running IQaudIO Pi-DigiAMP+ powering a pair of Dali Zensor 1 bookshelf speakers.
Both these setups produce sounds that makes me smile, and be happy. I get lost for hours at a time in journeys through music. That is what i wanted to achieve, and Volumio has given it to me, so a huge shout out to all those involved in this great software.
