I live in the US and I am just dipping my toes into the Volumio waters.
I enjoy DIY so I am building up my first Pi-based system with a brand new DIY DAC hat circuit developed by a DIYAudio member.

It is a NOS design based on 8x paralleled Philips TDA1387 chips from the 1990s 
. The Gerbers are freely available for anybody to print PCBs, and the circuit can be built for approximately $20 in parts.
The signal chain will look like this:
iFi iPower -> RPi 3B -> Allo Kali Reclocker -> TDA1387 hat -> various amp/speaker/headphone combos
