Hi all,
I just thougth i might post it additionally here as it was a little OT in this thread: spotify-connect-t2811.html#p46217
excerpt:

Second: I found no way to hear the first 2-4 seconds of a song after skipping. Even if the previous song ends and the next one starts, the first seconds are missing. (I read this in another thread or even in another forum, but I don´t find it any more). This happens from any other source, too (when skipping). The only chance to hear a song from the beginning is to play it locally (USB disk) after another song or to manually slide back to the beginning in windows spotify or DLNA player.
Has anyone else experienced especially the second? My RP3B goes via HDMI into a Cambridge Audio CXU. I read of an “HDMI audio keep alive” issue in a Kodi and mopidy forum, but have no clue whether this the same with volumio. Sorry for being OT, any tips where i should additionally post the second issue?
Anyway excellent work, guys! Keep it up.
To clarify since it is a little out of context here: first seconds are always missing after skipping, when playing over spotify connect even when playing one song after another.
volumio 2.368 (didn´t find the time to update yet, but checked the changelog) with balbuzes dev version of volspotconnect2 (github.com/balbuze/volumio-plug … nnect2.zip )
Anyone on this?
Thanks in advance and Cheers
Arnd
