I have always had a soft spot for music, but recently re-discovered my love when I first heard FLAC over a decent system.
Got a nice system,but it needed a stand alone network player, I thought of a RasPi 3B+with a Hifiberry DAC+ Pro HAT
should be simple right ? well 3 weeks of tinkering and frustration with anything I could find … then stumbled on VolumIO
Haven’t looked back … handles my 36k track library beyond expectation
