Albums in 'Album' view not sorted correctly

Setup:

Volumio 2.323 (latest) running on Raspberry Pi3
Audio files are distributed across three folders, stored on an USB drive that is inserted directly into the Raspberry Pi3
In my ‘Music Library Settings’, Sort Artists By = albumartist.

Expected Behavior:

In the ‘Albums’ view, albums are sorted by ‘album artist’

Actual Behavior:

Albums are sorted first by folder (as stored on the USB drive) and within each folder by ‘album artist’

I have the same issue. It’s been present since a few months a least. I have been meaning to post about this, I actually think I did, but cannot find it.

Anyway, it is quite an issue for me, as finding an album this way is pretty difficult, if you are not sure in which folder it is.
