I like the web GUI oft volumio. I want to See music information and cover in a small screen. Maybe the shell session can Boot into the webpage and show this information in the connected hdmi display?
And HDMI-CEC support, that allow cool standalone system, controled from TV. If it possiple, its great idea.
Most devices are lacking the power to both optimally play audio and run a gui browser and host the webgui.
This will most probably always stay a diy solution if you want it. There is already a thread about adding a (touch) screen in the help section if your interested.
